Neuralink, a startup dedicated to engineering an implant that melds the human brain with computing systems. Having conducted trials with rodents, Neuralink sets its sights on human trials within the next two years, pending necessary approvals. Neuralink's approach involves direct brain interactions via an invasive interface. Their experimental chip comprises up to 96 polymer threads, each equipped with up to 32 electrodes. These chips are surgically inserted into the brain through a tiny incision, and are designed to establish wireless connections with external devices. Initial applications will focus on enabling individua
