The MBBS entrance exam in India is the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG). It is conducted annually for admission to undergraduate medical and dental courses in government and private colleges across the country. The exam tests students in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology based on the Class 11 and 12 syllabus. Qualifying NEET is mandatory for pursuing an MBBS degree in India. Due to intense competition, students usually prepare for months through coaching, self-study, and mock tests. A good NEET score opens opportunities to study medicine at some of India's top medical institutions.
