تفخر شركة أوكيو للاستكشاف والإنتاج بالإعلان عن توقيع اتفاقية التعديل رقم 2 لاتفاقية المشاركة في الإنتاج لمنطقة الامتياز رقم 53 (مخيزنة) مع وزارة الطاقة والمعادن في سلطنة عمان. يمنح هذا التعديل تمديد لاتفاقية الامتياز حتى عام 2050. تقع منطقة الامتياز رقم 53 في محافظة الوسطى، وتمتد على مساحة 694 كيلومتر مربع، وتحتضن حقل مخيزنة المشهور عالميًا بحقن البخار لتعزيز استخلاص النفط. ويتولى إدارة منطقة الامتياز شراكة إستراتيجية تضم أوكسيدنتال عُمان (“OXY”) بحصة مشاركة تبلغ 47% وأوكيو للاستكشاف والإنتاج بحصة مشاركة 20% وشركة النفط
