Examples:
In the example below, my computer named MyLANHome (172.16.1.188) is connected to my router (192.168.0.1) via cable modem.
The MTU for my cable modem is 940 bytes, so this example sends a ping with a payload size of 940 bytes with the do-not-fragment bit set, so the MTU setting of my router should be 920 bytes.
