For Allegiant Air Cleveland seasonal destinations, Cleveland developed become an experimentation centre. In order to assess passenger interest and seasonal demand, the airline began offering temporary service to places including Savannah/Hilton Head, Myrtle Beach, and Destin/Fort Walton Beach. By providing direct flights during periods of high travel demand and promoting travel between Cleveland and southern vacation destinations, these routes targeted to snowbirds and spring break tourists.
