Planning a fishing trip to the Philippines

Me and the boys are finally pulling the trigger on a trip to the Philippines. The weather is supposed to be prime right now and everything is so cheap, especially if you rent a yacht for some deep-sea fishing. We definitely need a car ready to go at the airport because we want to have wheels nearby whenever we feel like moving. Is it better to just hit the rental counters at Manila airport or are there cheaper local shops that'll drop the car off right at the terminal for us?
